History

 

Ten Sing started in England in 1982 and the idea came from Norwegian YMCA who brought it to England  – there are many groups in countries across Europe and opportunities to get together for big events / festivals like  Prague 2003, Denmark 2006, Prague 2008.

 

Kingswood Ten Sing started at the YMCA in Kingswood in 1990 but became an independent project in 1999 when the Kingswood YMCA building closed. The group are now linked with Bath YMCA in 2003 and is looking to develop in a variety of ways and to have a base to work from.
